Our Extra Curricular Activities
In addition to the academic and enrichment activities already provided through your child’s pre-school program, Baldwin has elected to have several extra-curricular vendors throughout the week and offer individual classes in the following venues;
California Gym Bus Company Mr. Steve and his Mobile Gym can be seen parked in front of Our Academy
every Tuesday Afternoon as eager children prepare to participate in one of
their favorite activities. A staple during the week, The Gym Bus has been
providing fun, challenging and varied sports and gymnastics classes to our
Baldwin Children for over a decade. An experienced and certified early
childhood specialist, Mr. Steve keeps his class size small and varies his weekly
program. All the fun takes place in a padded school bus complete with
climbing, jumping and swinging equipment.

KickStart Soccer teaches children the sport of soccer through age-appropriate games, drills and exercises from around the globe. Each class takes place on Monday afternoons and is conducted by an enthusiastic and experienced instructor. Classes offer a healthy, fun and informative exposure to thebasic skills, techniques and rules that are a part of soccer. The goal of Kickstart Soccer is to provide a safe and fun environment that allows children to develop the social, emotional and coordination skills that will help them become players who are excited about physical activity and keeping fit as well as becoming good sports and teammates both on and off the field.

Spanish Lessons are held every Thursday afternoon by Mr. Fabian Londono. Fabian is passionate about immersing the children into the Spanish Language
and is animated and energetic in his approach to language exposure. His
basic Spanish Instruction includes, but is not limited to Dialogue, Letter Sounds,
Numbers, Colors, Shapes, Animals and body Parts. Stories, Songs and
Worksheets also help inculcate the lessons.

Webby Dance Company offers exciting and educational dance classes that
include basic instruction in Tap Dance, Pre-Ballet, Creative Movement and Tumbling. Classes are held Wednesday afternoons and are taught by
Ms. Lauren O’Bryon. Ms. Lauren is inventive and creative, using Favorite
Songs, Props and Techniques that encourage the children to enjoy what
they’re learning and to have a positive and enjoyable experience with
Dance and all of its elements.

Curriculum Specialist Mrs. Anita Berger is a Campus Favorite and arrives each
week to promote the current Curriculum Themes in each of our Programs. Many times she dresses up as a familiar character and thrills the children with a
Special Story, Song, Rhyme or Activity. A treasured visitor to Our Academy
Ms. Anita retired from her decades long teaching position with us in 2007 and
has been a Welcome Guest sharing her expertise, knowledge and love for
children ever since!
